Privacy Policy

The short version

This is a static website. There are no user accounts, no comments, and — today — no working forms. We don’t ask for your email to download anything. The reserve calculator runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type into it is transmitted to us or anyone else.

What we collect today

• Directly from you: nothing. The newsletter box in the footer is a labeled placeholder — it is disabled and collects nothing. The contact page describes how to reach us but hosts no live form yet.
• Server logs: our hosting provider (a static-site host such as Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages) may log standard request data — IP address, user agent, pages requested — for security and operations, under that provider’s own privacy policy.

Analytics (disclosure placeholder — updated at launch)

We plan to use privacy-conscious deployment of Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages help people (page views, downloads, calculator use). As of July 3, 2026 these snippets are not yet active — the code contains labeled insertion points only. When analytics go live, this section will be updated with: the exact tools enabled, what they collect, cookie details, IP handling, and opt-out instructions. We will not sell personal data, and we have no interest in identifying individual visitors.

Downloads

Template files and the starter pack are plain file downloads. We may count downloads in aggregate (via analytics, once active); the files themselves contain no tracking.

Outbound links

Links to vendor and government sites take you to services with their own privacy practices. If we ever join affiliate programs, outbound links may include referral parameters; that will be disclosed per our disclosure policy.

Email (future)

When the newsletter launches, signup will be genuinely optional, single-purpose (the newsletter you asked for), with working unsubscribe, run through a named email service provider — and this policy will be updated before the first signup is accepted.

Children

This site is for adults serving on association boards and is not directed at children under 13.
